My Story

Senior year of high school, everyone around me seemed to have their life figured out. College plans, career paths, big dreams with clear directions. I didn’t have any of that. I honestly had no idea what I wanted to do. One day, a girl in my class casually said, “You should open a boutique.” It stuck with me. It felt right… but I didn’t act on it. The idea just stayed tucked away in the back of my mind.

After graduation, I started taking online college classes and earned my private pilot’s license. I thought aviation might be my path because I truly love flying — but the more I thought about it, the more I realized I wanted flying to stay something I do for fun, not pressure.

Then came a seasonal job at a dude ranch in Colorado — and everything shifted. I fell in love with the lifestyle, the freedom, and the feel of it all. It was simple, outdoorsy, and real. When I came home, I went back to my online classes and picked up different part-time jobs, but I still felt stuck. I wasn’t happy.

I love the outdoors — fishing, hunting, riding backroads, going to rodeos, concerts, being on the water, and just being outside whenever I can. One day it finally clicked: why not create something that fits that life? Something I actually believe in.

That’s when AnnDee Bird Boutique became real.

The Meaning Behind the Name

AnnDee comes from my middle name, Ann, and my little sister’s middle name, Dee. We’re close in age, do everything together, and she’s one of my biggest supporters. Having her be part of the name felt right — because this brand is built on family, support, and growing together.

Bird is for my first dog, who I named Birdie a Boykin Spaniel I bought all by myself. She represents independence, growth, and taking that first leap on your own.

What We’re About

AnnDee Bird Boutique is for real life. For slow mornings at home, long days outside, weekends on the boat, backroad drives, rodeos, concerts — and yes, even flying airplanes.

My goal is to offer apparel that feels effortless, comfortable, and cute no matter where you’re headed. Pieces you can actually live in.
